Wager Types
Heritage Sports has the following wager types for your entertainment!
The Spread is a type of line that consists on an amount of predetermined points (or goals) you add or subtract to a team or player (side), to even them out. This is also known as handicap.
With the spread, both teams get balanced with equal chances of winning the bet: the favorite’s advantage is reduced, and the underdog’s disadvantage is evened out. You can bet the Spread straight up on a desired side (team/player) or total. The juice of the wager is 10/11 or $110 to win $100. Example: If you take a straight wager on the COWBOYS -3½ then the COWBOYS must win by 4 points for the wager to win. If the straight wager is on the FALCONS +3½ then the FALCONS cannot lose by more than 3 points for the wager to win. Had the spread on the above example be 3, if the game landed on 3 points, then the game would be a “PUSH” and result in “NO ACTION”. DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
The Moneyline is the value given to a Side and it indicates how favored (or not) a line is by setting a price on it; thus, the more favored a team is, the more you will have to lay on it to win the same amount.
You may pick the Moneyline straight up and select which team is going to win regardless of the spread. Example: If you wager on the COWBOYS -185 you lay $185 to win $100. If you wager on the FALCONS +165 you lay $100 to win $165. Spreads may also be complemented with Moneylines. DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
The Total is mainly based on the spread. Wagers with Totals comprehend the total points or goals scored in a game by both teams. You may select OVER or UNDER the posted line. The juice of the wager is 10/11 (or 110/100).
Example:
The TOTAL is at 34, and if you place a wager on the UNDER 34, the combined total score of both teams must fall UNDER 34 pts. If you place a wager for OVER 34, the combined total score of both teams must go OVER 34 pts. If the combined total score falls on 34pts, then the wager is considered as a "PUSH" and there would be "NO ACTION". DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers. This feature allows you to buy or sell points on the spread to your advantage. It can be used on your Straight wagers and Parlays at a set up money line (Regular Juice is -110): Example:
We offer point buying and selling over the internet on the following sports: - Basketball: Sides and Totals - Football: Sides and Totals - Baseball: Totals - Hockey: Totals Prices vary per line; please check the specific sport or event before placing any wagers. This is a type of wager in Baseball that combines point spread (number of runs scored) with moneyline. Its action is based on listed pitchers; and thus, if there is a pitching change, wagers will be graded as NO ACTION. The pitcher must throw at least once (without including warm-ups).
Example:
Option A: A $100 wager on the ASTROS’ run-line would read: ASTROS - D. Keuchel -1½ $100/120. The ASTROS need to win the game by 2 or more runs. Option B: A $100 wager on the BRAVES’ run-line would read: BRAVES - F. Freeman +1½ $140/100. The BRAVES can lose the game by up to 1 run and the wager would still be considered a winner. DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
This is a type of wager in Hockey that combines point spread (number of goals scored) with money line.
Example:
Option A: A $100 wager on the OILERS’ puck line would read: OILERS +1½ $160/100. The OILERS can lose the game by up to 1 goal and the wager would still be considered a winner. Option B: A $100 wager on the BRUINS’ puck line would read: BRUINS -1½ $100/140. The BRUINS need to win the game by 2 or more goals. This wager consists on a selection of straight bets with no particular order, all linked within one wager, on which all selections must win to be considered as a wining bet. The more teams selected, the greater the payoff is.
Any push in a parlay with 3 teams or more will go to the next lowest number of teams. A push in a 2 team parlay will result in a straight wager (All Contests at -110 will result in a payout of $91).
Maximum payout is $100,000 per group of parlays.
Maximum amount of open spots is 14. Formula: RISKED AMOUNT ($100) X 1.769 (REDS) X 2.15 (CUBS) - (RISKED AMOUNT: $100) = 280 For a three team parlay, risking $100: Formula: RISKED AMOUNT ($100) X 1.769 (REDS) X 2.15 (CUBS) X 1.787 (METS) - (RISKED AMOUNT: $100) = 579
Round Robins, also known as a ‘System of Parlays’, allow you to generate all new possible combinations within your Parlay selections by creating new Parlays with all of your original choices.
Round Robins can be selected from 3 and up to 15 teams and their payoffs are based on Parlay Factors and true Fractional Odds.
Example: Maximum payout will be considered for the WHOLE group of Parlays and not for each Parlay, in other words, a max of $100,000 will be paid on any Round Robin. A maximum of $100,000 is paid out on any Round Robin or combination of Round Robins using more than 50% of the same teams as in another Round Robin or combination of Round Robins. Ever win three out of four games in your parlay or get five winners and the sixth one don't come in? Welcome to Almost Parlays where you get paid if you hit them all or if you almost hit them all.
Almost Parlays have become one of the most popular betting propositions for Heritage Clients. Just another way you get more "bang for your buck" at Heritage Sports! A maximum payout of $100,000 is set for this type of bet.
A tie is graded as a loss for payout purposes. For instance, if you have a 10-team "Almost Parlay" with 1 tie and 1 loss, it will be graded as 2 losses. It will not revert to a 9-team "Almost Parlay" with 1 loss and it will pay 3 to 1 using the table above as a reference. DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
This is a wager on which 2 to 15 teams are selected together in one bet with an adjusted point spread. In a teaser you can add points in your favor on sides and totals, and combine them all, even if it’s on the same game.
If one selection loses, the teaser is considered a loss; except on a two team teaser if one team ties the wager is a "push" regardless if the other team wins or loses. A 2-team Open Teaser with a loss, cannot be filled, and IS A LOSS. Any 3 team teaser or greater than 3 teams with a push will revert to the next lowest number of teams payout. If a teaser has no payout in the next lowest number of teams and such teaser has a push or cancellation, it will be graded as no action. YOU CAN ALSO TEASE TOTALS!A maximum payout of $100,000 is set for this type of bet.
Heritage Sports offers the best teasers in the industry, with the best payoffs! Our teasers have the most points on your favor so you never have to worry about covering any spread!
Any 3 team teaser or greater than 3 teams with a push will revert to the next lowest number of teams payout. If a teaser has no payout in the next lowest number of teams and such teaser has a push or cancellation, it will be graded as no action.
The Teaser is considered a loss unless all selections win –in other words a Tie is a Loss. If a game is postponed or if there is a pitching change the teaser will be considered as No Action. The payoff odds on these Teasers are:
Restrictions: No 'In and Outs' (meaning taking the over and under on the same game). $500 maximum. Open spots are allowed. DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
A pleaser is the opposite to a teaser. Instead of receiving 6 points you GIVE UP 6 points. You can use up to 6 teams in a Pleaser.
Example: If the Rams are -6 and the Jets are +3 and you take them in a Pleaser you would then have the Rams -12 and the Jets -3. Only NFL and College Football sides and/or totals are allowed in Pleasers (NO BASKETBALL). A tie in a Pleaser with 3 teams or more will revert to the next lowest Pleaser. A tie in a 2 team Pleaser will result in "NO ACTION" (even if the other side is a loser!). A 2-team Open Pleaser with a loss, cannot be filled, and IS A LOSS.A maximum payout of $100,000 is set for this type of bet.
An “IF BET” is a chain of straight wagers linked together by the condition that the first selection must win, tie or cancel to move onto the next one.
If the first pick complies with the condition, then the second selection will have action; if the second selection complies with the condition, then the third pick will have action and so on.
All “IF WIN, PUSH OR CANCEL” bet selections must be chosen at the same time of the first straight bet selection.
When making an If Bet (selecting If Win Only or If win or Push) the largest risk amount within your selections will be the amount deducted from your balance.
DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
On “IF WIN ONLY” bets, all selections must win for the next selection to have action. If one of the selections pushes or cancels, the chain stops there and does not move forward onto the next pick.
All “IF WIN ONLY” bet selections must be chosen at the same time of the first straight bet selection.
When making an If Bet (selecting If Win Only or If win or Push) the largest risk amount within your selections will be the amount deducted from your balance.
DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
REVERSE wagers are always "double action" IF BETS.
Example:
An ACTION REVERSE for $100 with the following picks:
Would split on two IF BETS (WIN, PUSH OR CANCEL): Part A BILLS +3 $110 to win $100 IF (win, push or cancel) then continues onto: COLTS -4½ $110 to win $100 Part B COLTS -4½ $110 to win $100 IF (win, push or cancel) then continues onto: BILLS +3 $110 to win $100 Possible Outcomes: + $400 = If both teams win + $200 = One push, one win - $120 = One win, one loss - $220 = Both teams lose - $220 = One push, one loss DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
A LEVERAGE PLAY is an exclusive new type of wager offered by Heritage Sports and it’s based on the outcome of a previously placed wager which is either in progress or not yet begun.
You can make a LEVERAGE PLAY on any pending wager (except IF-BETS) even if you don’t have an available balance, as long as your pending bet has no defining score!
For wagering purposes, a Parlay and/or a Teaser with a PUSH (and thus reverting to the next lower level of payoff) will still generate ACTION onto the next LEVERAGE PLAY, as long as there is enough balance to cover it.
Example:
You have the following pending 3-team Parlay:
And your Leverage Play would be another 3-Team Parlay: If one of the first selections tie and the other 2 teams win, then you WILL still have action on the Leverage Play because: If 2 of the teams would tie and you have only 1 winner, then the Leverage Play WILL NOT go because you won’t have enough balance to cover the Risk amount on it (you would only have $100 + $91 = $191). To create a LEVERAGE PLAY online, select the wager you would like to place (single play, parlay or teaser) from the Wagering Menu. Once the picks have been selected click on ‘CONTINUE’, and before putting any risk amount, click on the ‘LEVERAGE PLAY OPTIONS’ button to see the list of your eligible pending wagers and their maximum risk amounts. Out of those pending wagers, you can select which wager to use “IF-WIN-ONLY” or “IF WIN, PUSH OR CANCEL” with its corresponding maximum risk amount. Using the drop menu “MY ACCOUNT” and selecting "Current Bets" you can view all of your pending LEVERAGE PLAYS as well. DisclaimerIt is the member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.
Heritage Hedge Plays are unique! If you have a winning Parlay leading up to the last pending selection and you’re having second thoughts, then this is your bet! You can place a Hedge wager and bet against your last pending pick, even if you don’t have the cash for it!
Let’s assume you have the following parlay:
